The Samuelson Seed Story
In 1994 the agency that would later be known as Samuelson Seed was founded. Our mission was simple: to provide proven products and superior service to area growers.
In 2015, the agency merged with another and gained team member Dick Smith. Three years later, another merger took place — this time bringing Dale McMullen to the team. Our final merger in 2021 took place under the Samuelson Seeds name with Pete Samuelson joining the agency. Throughout our history, we’ve grown and added invaluable partners like Next Gen Agronomy, Precision Planting, Millborn Seeds, and Low Mu Tech.
“I truly believe we have the best team and services in the area,” says Dale. “Our farmers love that we’re able to provide a wide range of services while still giving them the individualized attention they deserve.”
The robust team at Samuelson Seed combines formal education and the knowledge gained from farming their own land to find the seed and products that fit the needs of your acres.
“We’re all about helping fellow farmers succeed,” Pete adds. “That means really getting to know them, as well as the ins and outs of their operations.”
Samuelson Seeds is community-driven and supports many organizations, including local FFA chapters, community schools and athletics, area fire departments, and others.
